Country of Origin - why does it matter?
An important question often asked of us at meet-and-greet events, field days, and sales calls is in regards to the Country of Origin. And we know why this is so important to our customers; we, too, have had experience of goods from some countries that fail prematurely, and have (despite a good "on-paper" warranty) no after-sales support. Or, operating instructions that have been poorly translated into English with ambiguous meanings.
Some companies are evasive about the origin of their products, saying “Made in USA” (or Australia, France, Italy, wherever), when they are aware that critical parts are made in countries that have long been associated with questionable engineering and/or manufacturing processes, cruel working conditions, which can result in poor quality components.
At Brüder, we are completely transparent about the countries of origin. Brüder machines are made up of parts sourced from all over the world, taking advantage of the good quality, well known parts sourced from one part of the world, and coupled with market leading and innovative parts from another.

What does this mean for you?
Having a reputable chain of supply means that we're able to provide higher quality products with lower failure rate, more product support, consistent availability, and better reliability.
- For example, we have chosen a genuine, Japanese-made Kubota engine for our AG176 and AG250 (agricultural compressors) based on their reliability and performance, but also nationwide availability of parts and service.
We've applied this same mindset to all of our products.
